Yeast Infection Cure
Many women
and men treat their yeast infections with over the counter
drugs or prescriptions from the doctor. These usually do
take away the symptoms of the condition. But they do not
seem to affect a cure. Only changing the reasons yeast
thrived in the first place and instituting preventative
measures, can you achieve a yeast infection cure
through the whole system. And then there will be no
recurring
symptoms.
Treating
with antibiotics is a definite no-no. Antibiotics kill
all bacteria, even the good ones that normally keep the candida
cells in control. Without those organisms, such as
lactobacillus, the yeast thrive and your yeast infection
becomes
worse.
Also,
candida albicans, the yeast that causes yeast infections, can
become resistant to the antimycotic or antifungal drugs that
are used medically to treat the
symptoms.

symptoms with natural remedies you will still get rid of
the symptoms, and you will also pave the way for a
healthier body that does not allow the candida to
grow.
It is worth spending a few dollars
to take the help of a professional who knows what works and
what doesn’t. Linda Allen is our choice for that
expert advice. As well as being a certified health
counsellor and nutritionist, Linda herself was a chronic
yeast infection sufferer. Her yeast infection cure has
cured thousands of people, including herself. Her book
is Yeast Infection No
More, which you can download

need buy on the subject.
Here are some yeast infection home remedies that have worked
for me:
Plain yogurt
Yogurt containing probiotics such as lactobacillus can be used
both internally and externally. It is very soothing on
the skin and can also be placed inside the vagina. The
probiotics keep the numbers of candida down.
Be sure you get plain yogurt which has not
been heated either during or after manufacture.
Organic and biodynamic yogurt should both be good, but read
the labels. Of course, you can also make your own.
Eat the yogurt before meals because the
friendly bacteria aid digestion. Also use it on skin
yeast infections, including nappy rash and penile yeast
infection. Let it sit in the mouth before swallowing,
if you have thrush.
Place outside or inside the vagina.
It’s a good idea to remove the yogurt after an hour or two
so that it doesn’t sit after it’s done its job, creating
more moisture for candida growth.
Garlic Garlic is an excellent
yeast infection cure! You can use either fresh raw garlic or
an excellent garlic capsule or liquid.
Take it internally or use
externally. You can take a capsule, or press a whole
peeled clove and quickly swallow it with water. A
peeled garlic clove or a garlic capsule can be put inside
the vagina every few hours or as needed. This can give
instant relief.
Pure organic apple cider
vinegar
Apple cider vinegar can be used both internally and
externally. However, it is very strong, so it needs to be
diluted. Even so, it can sting on the skin. A
relaxing way to get relief is to put a cup of apple cider
vinegar in the bath water and take a hot bath. It will
give you relief and also kill the yeast.
Never use plain white vinegar. This
actually feeds the yeast!
Water We all know these days
that it’s important to drink plenty of water. In the
case of a yeast infection cure, drinking plenty of water
will flush out the toxins and sugars and help create a clean
environment in which yeast will not over-grow.
Make sure you only drink good filtered
water so as not to add chemicals and organisms to your
body.
Oregano oil This herb is very
potent against yeast. Take it internally.
Beneficial bacteria
supplement Find a source of high quality, live
probiotics. These probiotics re-colonise the colon,
and keep the candida in balance. It’s important that
the probiotics are live, so look in the fridge in your
health store.
Here are some things to avoid when
fighting a yeast infection, as they create an imbalance in
the body that causes the proliferation of yeast:
-
Taking birth control pills and hormone therapy
-
Taking antibiotics
-
Douching
-
Feminine deodorants - these contain chemicals and
fragrances. They can be very irritating to
anyone, especially those with yeast infections.
-
Non-cotton underwear - any underwear made of
man-made fibers is not as breathable as cotton.
They trap moisture and heat, creating a perfect
environment for yeast.
-
Clothing that is tight in the crotch
-
Staying in a wet bathing suit or damp workout
clothes
-
Pantyhose – are tight, man-made fiber that allows
yeast to flourish.
-
Foods that feed yeast - Avoid sugar, yeast, refined
foods (such as white flour).
